When whippoorwills call and evening is nigh,
I hurry to my Blue Heaven.
A turn to the right, a little white light,
Will lead me to my Blue Heaven.
I'll see a smiling face, a fireplace, a cozy room,
A little nest that nestles where the roses bloom;
Just Molly and me, and baby makes three,
We're happy in my Blue Heaven.

Happy Birthday Mom!

April 10, 2010 was their 76th wedding anniversary.
The original photograph is a hand painted b&w photo ... Mom is a vibrant 97 year old more clever than ever and Dad passed in March,1990. Cheers to the unknown photographer!

Can't see the forest for the trees
If I was told that I would only be allowed to photograph one subject for my remaining days I think I would pick trees ... they are infinitely varied and profoundly beautiful!
