 I've attached an article I wrote for 'College Canada' more than 20 years ago. In some ways, I think I get to say "I told you so."

Autumn Calling

 

Autumn falls with gold

As if God's gift before the cold.

The winter winds will soon be nigh,

And longing hearts for spring will sigh.

The seasons do churn

As warmth to chill does turn.

Time in its seasons is never still,

Never faltering, never will.

Never a moment let regret reside,

Lest bitterness soon also abide.

Outwardly, the furies may blow,

But a grateful heart true warmth will know.
