Sunset at Keefer Lake, May 5, 2019

The ice on the lake is finally melting although 90% of the surface area is still ice - it's only open along the shoreline. There is an illusion of much more open water than we really have in these photos due to the properties of shooting a wide-angle lens that is only inches above the water. The ice edge appears to be much farther away than it really is (about 1 meter).
